  13. Lets  get something straight before we
  14. start.    Piracy   is  wrong  whatever
  15. reason  you may have for doing it.  It
  16. is still against the law.

  18. I  believe that if a piece of software
  19. in your pirate collection is used more
  20. than three times then you should go to
  21. the  shop  and  buy it.  If you play a
  22. game  once  and  you  thought  it  was
  23. really  shit  then at least you didn't
  24. buy it in the first place.  But if you

  29. have  a lot of titles that are cracked
  30. then you should buy a few originals.
  31. When  I  had  all my pirate software I
  32. used  to  get all the latest games off
  33. my  mate's  modem.   My  mate  has now
  34. moved   to  another  country.   I  was
  35. therefore  forced  to stop my pirating
  36. activities.   I also believe that some
  37. people just copy games to add to their
  38. collections.   I used to do this a lot
  39. but my software collection is now only
  40. about  200  disks,  having copyed over
  41. all  my  copies  with large amounts of
  42. PD.  If you are the sort of person who
  43. never  buys a game...  ever.  Not even
  44. a  second  hand one, then I can't wait
  45. until  you  hopefully  get  caught  by
  46. FAST.   Although  I  don't regard this
  47. type  of  piracy as lost sales, simply
  48. because  people like this don't intend
  49. to buy a good game even if it was only
  50. £15.

  52. It  is  this  type  of  people who are
  53. killing  the  Amiga.  I have one thing
  54. to  ask of you.  The next game you get
  55. on  copy,  if  you  are a pirate, just
  56. keep  it to yourself.  Don't go giving
  57. copies  of  it to all your m8's and it
  58. won't  get  spread.   Then more people
  59. will buy it.
